#Poise101: Channeling Ruth Negga || What Aspirational Person Would you Like to Channel in Poise?

Whether it’s playing Mildred in Loving or by just being herself, Ruth Negga’s poise speaks volumes to me.

In ‘Loving’, she was quiet, but influential, such that every move she made said something. She did not react with hate but bore all manner of injustice in quietness.

Hers was a quiet fight for what she believed in.

In real life, Ruth is slightly more talkative, articulate and concise. She moves elegantly, maintains proper sitting posture, as well as crosses her legs appropriately.

At movie premieres and other public events, she is quite composed, welcoming cameras with grace.

Channelling Ruth Negga is  emoting demureness that is not in-your-face. It definitely requires a touch of stoicism and excellent speech.
