I think I’m remembering how much I really love fashion. I’m giving credit to #LFDW and #gtbank fashion weekend though, because every fashion item around me is breathing quite loudly and beckoning at me to take notice. But then again, I’ve always been like that, but these days, the force is stronger than ever. Anyways, it’s all for your viewing pleasure😊😊😊
I have noticed a couple of trends in Lagos and I thought to share them with y’all and see if you agree with me. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section!
This was such a trend at #LFDW and it’s pretty cool to see it on these Lagos streets😊
This look does not only consist of fringing in dresses. It translates to tassels on shoes and earrings!
Peace Hyde of Forbes Africa sported a dress with fringe detail and tassels on her sandals at The Wedding Party premiere
The ever stylish Eunice Omole looked fabulous at the Unofficial Christmas party in her Ayo Vane Elmar dress with fringe detail at her mid calves and arms
Catch this throw back to Sammy Walsh’s fringed piece at the #LFDW
2. White chiffon blouse and jean trousers
This is a classic look that never goes wrong, with ladies rocking the look on a lady Saturday or as a smart casual look for an event.
I know this pic of Claire Idera was taken over a year ago, but I’ve seen this trend down my alley recently. Just have issues getting pics to prove it. LOL.
3. Sheer long skirt/dress with short skirt underneath
I’m currently moving this trend because it’s so ingenious. It’d probably be the next style I’d have ‘bespoked’😎 Lol.
4. Blouses and dresses with sleeves puffy at the wrists or elbows
Catch Adesua Etomi rocking them puffy sleeves below.
What fashion trends have you noticed these days😊?
What is your favourite fashion trend?
