Apart from making couture pieces for Prince Charles and Edward Enninful, MIA featured its collection at the Leicester Fashion Week in November 2018.

MIA London feature at the New York and Paris Fashion Weeks under the Umbrella of Oxford Fashion Studio.
I loved this. I went to see an exhibition on African fashion last year (I think. Might have been the year before) at LFW and it was so exciting to see a fresh take on fashion. I love the 4 main fashion weeks but getting new blood in seems to be impossible. It’s time fashion buyers started looking further afield. Wonder if they do those Tees in extra-small?
Hi Elizabeth. You’re right, it’s high time fashion buyers started looking further afield. We have so many awesome Nigerian designers, some of whom have showcased their Nigerian inspired collections at the New York Fashion Week, like Maki Oh. I’m looking forward to reporting more success stories like this. It seems MIA’s tee shirts might be sold out, but they do have a few bespoke suits for women retailing at £400. Check out their pieces at mialdn.com
Very Nice! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Many thanks
